Registration Checklist

You'll need to be prepared with the following information to submit your research:

1. ABSTRACT: A ~50-word abstract of your research. This abstract will be considered in the judging process.
2. POSTER FILE: A PDF (44" wide x 33" high) of your FINAL research poster. This will be printed and ready for you to display the morning of the conference. Your poster will be considered in the judging process.
3. VIDEO FILE: A 30- to 60-second video file that is no more than 40 MB, explaining your research. Your video will be considered in the judging process.
4. CO-INVESTIGATORS: Your BYU net ID and the BYU net ID of any other student co-investigator who is part of the research. Please do not register co-investigators who are not BYU students.
5. MENTOR: The name of your mentor(s). This person must be a faculty member in the College of Family, Home, and Social Sciences. You may list more than one FHSS faculty mentor, but the first one you list will determine which department your poster is assigned to. Please do not register mentors outside of the college.

TECHNICAL ISSUES: If you are experiencing technical difficulties with your submission, please contact fhss-web@byu.edu.

NO CONFIRMATION: After your registration is complete, you should receive an email. If you do not receive an email at your BYU address within 30 minutes, please contact the Deans Office at 801-422-2085 or fhss@byu.edu to confirm receipt of your submission.

POSTER ERROR: If after checking, double checking and triple checking your poster, you still discover a problematic error, you may print your corrected poster at your own expense at Cougar Creations (1010 WSC) and bring the corrected poster to 990 KMBL prior to the conference. Please also contact the Deans Office at 801-422-2085 or fhss@byu.edu for details about how to add the corrected file in our online system.
